I have finished painting this band for Underworlds that I have actually bought to play Warcry. A very cool little project that enabled me to test out a bunch of stuff for any AoS goblins/grots that I'd like to paint in the future! They are "easy to build" miniatures that come in green plastic and sculpted bases. This is also the first time I used pink as a basecoat for yellow transparent paint and I'm in love!
The Scheme
- Black Primer
- Grey part of slapchop
- Squid Pink on elements that will be yellow or orange (2 or 3 thin coats should do the job)
- White drybrush
- Forest Sprite on the skin
- Dreadnought Yellow on yellow elements
- Turnbull Turquise on the remaining parts of the robes
- Chameleon Orange on the squigs
- Skeleton Horde on ropes and teeth
- Wyldwood on the wood
- Snakebite Leather on leather elements
- Blood Angels Red on the shields, moons and mushrooms
- Satchel Brown on the pouches
- 1:1:1 Burnt Moss, Occultist Cloak, Desolate Brown on the base
- Iron Warriors i Runelord Brass on the metallic elements
- Dark Tone on the metallic elements
